ABOUT SCHOOL
Indian School Ibra is an English Medium Co-educational School established by the Board of Directors (BoD) of Indian Schools in the Sultanate of Oman and is located in Sharqiya Region, 175 km away from Muscat on Route No.23. The school is managed by the School Management Committee (SMC) constituted by the Board of Directors of Indian Schools in the Sultanate of Oman.
Indian School Ibra was started on October 01, 1991 and it has celebrated its Silver Jubilee on December 18, 2015. The school was upgraded to Senior Secondary School level on November 16, 2016. The school is approved by the Ministry of Education, Sultanate of Oman and is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, India (Affiliation No. 6130010). At present the school runs classes from K.G. I to Class XII and in senior secondary classes at present science stream is being offered.
Our vision is that Indian School Ibra will be a center of excellence where all students are given the support and challenges to achieve their full potential. The School aims at the development of the integrated personality of each individual student to enable them to become competent youths to live successfully in this global competitive world. To this end the school provides an all-round education, viz. academic, moral and physical.
Our mission is to ensure that each student becomes a mature, spiritually -aware person, active and useful to society and loyal to his country. Thus the school strives at the growth of not merely the academic achievements, but it also provides opportunities for the development of good moral and social habits which are the basis in the formation of an upright citizen and also become competent youths to live successfully in this global competitive world.
Conclusion: The children in the school today will be the adults of this century. The young minds are pool of fresh thoughts. Winning is not everything. Striving for excellence should be the ultimate. Let us all contribute and make a conscious effort to educate our children to enable them to fulfill their hopes and enjoy their differences, help those who are less fortunate, be brave, disciplined, honest and faithful to Parents with devotion to God. Let us not forget that the purpose of education is for the betterment of self, society and whole mankind. May all of us be in the eternal bliss, May all of us be free from disease and misery, May all of us be blessed with auspicious things, May not even a single being suffer.
